Yesterday I attended the funeral service of a 14 year old. RIP Razmig Soukiassian, a bright young man, so loved by all. He passed away in an apartment fire, with his mother, only survivor his little brother. I know, love and respect their father who now has a heart broken in a million pieces, trying to be strong for his son. The divorce years ago may have been a huge challenge; this one surpasses it tenfold.
Getting through these very trying times will certainly require a lot of love and support for the family. Our community is of course very much present in helping them, each friend in their own way. As a witness to this tragedy though, we are all invited to think… How little time we may all have…
How little time we may all have… to be happy and share our happiness with our loved ones.
How little time we may all have… to say I love you.
How little time we may all have… to feel gratitude for everything and everyone around us.
How little time we may all have… to be the best that we can be, doing the things we love to do.
How little time we may all have… What do you want to do today to make sure you make the best of your present day?
