Spiritual Christmas

People who know me know that I am not a Holiday person. I mentioned it before at Halloween and the same applies for Christmas. Usually at this time of year, I am exhausted from a long month of stressful work, I am depressed from the shorter days with less sunlight and I don’t like the crazy commercialisation of the Holidays in general. I hate shopping!

This doesn’t mean I am not happy. I use the Holidays as a very spiritual time of year. Christmas is a time of rebirth, a time to stop and fuel myself with spiritual energy, to be with family and loved-ones, to share in good times together, to remember happy moments and periods of difficulty that we have overcome together and to think of the future, of how love and peace will continue to be a big part of my path.
