At the very beginning, I viewed my Life Dream as a goal far far away; I thought it would be impossible to get there, to reach it and to finally live the life I wanted to live. My perception of my Life Dream made me turn backwards and decide that maybe it wasn’t meant to be for me…
With TheNewHappyMe, things started to change…

Often when we visualize our Life Dream, we see it as something big and wonderful. It is a life very different than the present one, so there are a lot of things to change to get there. There are a lot of steps to follow and challenges to face, a new adventure to embark on… it gets scary at times and the unknown makes us run back in our comfort zone, back to the familiar setting of the present situation, still far from our Life Dream.

As I commit to reaching my Life Dream, I also accept that I will have to go beyond my comfort zone and try new things on my path. Easier said than done, so let’s break this down…
My comfort zone is made up of all the things I believe I can do.
Everything outside of my comfort zone consists of things I am not sure I can handle.
When I commit to working on achieving my goals, I make a promise to myself that I will make every effort to complete my milestones. This inherently includes trying to do things I have never done before, that I may not be sure I can handle.
Breaking down my goal into milestones, steps and baby steps allows me to take one task at a time and see if I can handle it or not. If I believe I can do it, then there is no issue. If I believe this is a challenge, then it offers me the opportunity to try and get out of my comfort zone.
By having broken down my goal into tiny steps, I also break down my challenges into mini-dares, almost like a game! And each time I win the small challenges, I congratulate myself for my success! I have just pushed my comfort zone farther and I now believe I am capable of handling one more thing! The motivation this provides me with is priceless!
This is something I do daily! I want you to try it too!
