An unusual but smart suggestion for your 2012 Resolution…

Ever since I started writing articles for TheNewHappyMe, and actually some time before that too, I registered for a few select self-growth related websites and blogs to learn more about the subject.  Over time, I cleaned up my email list but kept the most interesting ones. I kept The Happiness Project by Gretchen Rubin.

Gretchen RubinA friend of mine mentioned the book by the same name and how all her friends loved it! I haven’t read the book yet, but I read the blog regularly. I was happy to hear the subject was touching many people around me already. Gretchen Rubin has some very good suggestions for us!

So I decided to email Gretchen a request. I told her that I am writing regularly about New Year Resolutions these days and as an expert in the field, TNHMe readers would really benefit from her wisdom. She replied immediately with 5 simple words.

“My suggestion: Get enough sleep!”

A most simple and unusual suggestion but it fit so well with the idea of making small changes for a big difference in Happiness in our life! Is this a resolution that may help you find a happier and healthier you?

Maybe a resolution to read Happiness articles and books regularly can help too. (Not maybe, it does… I can vouch for that!)
